The work, the trade, the register
Each standard requires a tradesperson qualified for that specific work. TrustPoint tracks the right credential against each one, verified at the source before the job is dispatched.
| Standard | Required trade | Verified against |
|---|---|---|
| Heating | Registered electrician, or gasfitter for gas heating | EWRB · PGDB |
| Ventilation | Registered electrician, licensed plumber where required | EWRB · PGDB |
| Moisture & drainage | Licensed drainlayer | PGDB |
| Draught stopping | LBP where it is restricted building work | MBIE LBP |
| Insulation | Certified installer, LBP for structural work | MBIE LBP |
Public liability, every time
Beyond the trade qualification, every contractor you send to a property should hold current public liability insurance. TrustPoint tracks it and alerts both you and them before it lapses.
Commercial property too
Healthy Homes applies to residential tenancies, but commercial maintenance carries the same duty of care under HSWA. The contractor you send to a commercial building must be just as verifiable, and TrustPoint treats both the same way.
See TrustPoint for property, or get access and verify your trades before the next job goes out.
